My name is Edy Patton and I am from Greensboro, NC. I have always been an avid drawer and loved to sketch growing up. I work primarily in Oil, Watercolor and Ink. My favorite artist and primary influence is Edward Hopper. I am self taught and describe my work as an extension of thoughts and experiences I have. I paint what I see and what I feel. Whether it is a walk through a park and a certain flower captures my attention or they way a lamp might light up a sidewalk at night, my ideas for art come from many places. Painting is my Hobby, my Passion and my Therapy. So when I am not out selling Real Estate, you can bet that I am somewhere thinking about my next idea for a painting. All of my artwork are original pieces and I do not make prints.
